Growth Strategist. Entrepreneur. Author. Speaker. Based in Accra, Ghana — working with founders, executives, and organisations across Africa and globally to build businesses that create real, lasting impact.
I believe Africa is the most gifted continent on earth — overflowing with talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. The challenge has never been potential.
As the Founder of Sash Afrique Ltd, I've spent years building ventures that celebrate African achievement and solve real problems. Through strategy, systems thinking, and hands-on execution, I help organizations close the gap between where they are and where they're capable of going.
I started designing to survive university. I ended up designing a movement. Every stage I speak from, every entrepreneur I mentor, every business I help build — it all serves one long-term mission: to help Africa's achievers step into the fullness of what they were always meant to be.
Whether you need a strategic partner, an experienced consultant, or a speaker who moves rooms — I bring the same thing: real-world experience, no fluff.

It started with a problem no one was solving. African graduates, professionals, and institutions were celebrating their achievements with sashes that carried no cultural weight — foreign symbols on African milestones. In 2022, Nana Boateng founded Sash Afrique Ltd to change that.
The idea was simple but powerful: create custom Kente-woven sashes that turn every achievement into a visible, wearable statement of African excellence. A sash that says, in the most culturally rooted way possible — I made it, and I am proud of where I come from.
From one customer to a movement. Sash Afrique's first client was Yaw Serlom — a single order that proved the concept. Within two years, the business had celebrated over 10,000 achievers and produced 4,000+ personalised recognition moments, serving universities, professional associations, churches, and corporate organisations across Ghana.
Clients include institutions like UPSA, KNUST, MTN Ghana, and dozens of graduation ceremonies, ordinations, and award events that now use Sash Afrique as their recognition partner of choice.
The continental vision. Sash Afrique is not a Ghanaian business that got lucky — it is the first brick in a pan-African recognition infrastructure. The long-term vision covers all 54 African nations: making African achievement visible, celebrated, and culturally affirmed from Accra to Nairobi to Lagos to Johannesburg.
— Built from scratch. Grown with purpose. Expanding across Africa.
Africa's greatest untapped resource is its youth. EmpowerNext is Nana Boateng's initiative to directly address the gap between ambition and execution for young African entrepreneurs — giving them not just inspiration, but practical tools, frameworks, and mentorship to build real businesses.
The initiative grew out of a recurring observation: young Ghanaians and Africans broadly were full of entrepreneurial energy but lacked structured guidance on how to translate that into sustainable ventures. Motivational talks weren't enough. EmpowerNext was built to go deeper.
What EmpowerNext delivers:
Workshops on entrepreneurship fundamentals — from ideation to first customer, pricing, and systems. Mentorship circles connecting young founders with experienced entrepreneurs. Frameworks drawn from real-world experience building Sash Afrique from zero to 10,000+ clients. And a growing network of African youth who are building with intention, not just hustle.
The mission: By 2030, EmpowerNext aims to have directly impacted 10,000 young entrepreneurs across Ghana and West Africa — providing the mindset, tools, and community to build businesses that last.

Every enterprise Nana builds connects to something larger. Naboat Groupe is the holding philosophy — not a registered conglomerate (yet), but a clear strategic framework for how every venture, initiative, and investment fits into a single, long-term pan-African ecosystem.
The idea is simple: build multiple African enterprises — each excellent in its own domain — that share values, infrastructure, talent, and a continental mission. Where Sash Afrique celebrates achievement, EmpowerNext builds the next generation of achievers. Where agribusiness feeds communities, digital ventures connect them. The pieces are designed to reinforce each other.
The pillars of Naboat Groupe:
Recognition & Culture — Sash Afrique and future cultural enterprises that make African identity visible and celebrated. Education & Empowerment — EmpowerNext and mentorship platforms that equip African talent. Agriculture & Food — Farm ventures building food security and generational wealth. Strategy & Advisory — consulting and advisory work that generates capital and strengthens other African businesses.
The timeline: The Groupe is in its early chapters. By 2030, the goal is to have active ventures in at least 5 African countries, employing hundreds, celebrating thousands, and generating real wealth that stays on the continent.
This is not a dream. It is a plan being executed, one venture at a time.
Practical thinking on entrepreneurship, strategy, branding, and what it actually takes to build something that lasts on the continent.
